Booking online allows you to see our availability, but appointments can be made by phone or via email as well.

Of course. It is appreciated if you cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours ahead of your appointment. Changes can be made online or by calling or emailing us. 

Typically, a portion of the fee is paid at inspection and the balance is paid once the Property Maintenance Certification is completed. Other payment arrangements can be accommodated. You do not need to pay when booking. Forms of payment accepted are Cash, Check, Venmo, and Credit Card.

Fire escape inspections are required by the City of Philadelphia every 5 years.

Once we complete your fire escape inspection and submit the report to Philadelphia L&I, they will mark your violation as "Complied". Depending on how long it has been since the violation was issued, L&I may charge a fee (usually $100). Once the fee is paid, or if there is no fee, then the violation will be "Closed".

After inspection, if the fire escape has been determined to be "Safe with Repair or Maintenance Program", you will have 6 months to make the necessary repairs. Reinspection is then required, and a new inspection report is submitted to L&I.

A Professional Engineer's license is required to submit Fire Escape Inspections to Philadelphia L&I. Your inspection and report will all be completed by a licensed Professional Engineer. We carry General Liability and Professional Liability Insurance. A certificate can be provided upon request.
